Raku!

Raku is the exciting firing technique where pots are heated to around 1000°c and removed from the kiln (using ppe) whilst glowing red hot. They are then typically placed within bins of sawdust where they are starved of oxygen. This alters the chemical structure of the glazes you have painted earlier on, giving you unpredictable but amazing results!

You can choose to either glaze something we have made for you or you can come in and make something yourself from scratch for for only £60. Just let us know which you would prefer to do when booking.

These raku workshops differ from other studios, in that you will be firing your own master piece yourself  (not just watching), getting the full, exciting experience!
